Text In Church pricing in 2026 runs on four plans: CORE, PLUS, SUITE and a custom Large Church tier. Your monthly price depends on which plan you pick and how many message credits you need, and anything past your credits costs 3 cents per credit. There's no long contract. You can cancel anytime.
That's the answer. Now the parts that actually decide your bill.
Full disclosure: I run Evant, which competes with Text In Church. I'll be straight about where they're good and save my pitch for one section near the end.
Pricing and features checked November 2026 on the Text In Church pricing page. Prices change. Check their site before you sign anything.
The dollar amount for CORE, PLUS and SUITE isn't printed as a flat number. You set your credit volume on their pricing calculator and the price follows. Paying yearly saves 17%, per the toggle on that page.
It depends on two dials. The plan. And the credits.
Here's how Text In Church defines a credit: one standard SMS up to 160 characters, or one 60-second voice broadcast. A text with an image costs 3 credits. Incoming texts from your people are free.
Go over your monthly credits and each extra one is 3 cents, added to your normal invoice. No form. No upgrade prompt. It just shows up on the bill.
Add-ons sit on top. Their Calling add-on is listed at $10 per seat per month. Concierge onboarding is optional and starts at $249.
Credits are fine. Until you start using pictures.
Let's do the math with their own rules. Say you text 250 people four times a month. All plain texts. That's 1,000 credits, which fits inside the 501 to 1,250 credit tier their calculator shows by default.
Now swap one of those four texts for a photo of the Christmas Eve flyer. Three plain texts plus one picture text is 6 credits per person. Times 250 people. 1,500 credits.
You're 250 credits over. At 3¢ each, that's $7.50 extra that month. Not a disaster. But it's the kind of thing nobody budgets for, and it grows with your list.
Two more things eat credits:
CORE is the texting plan. Mass texting and two-way conversations, scheduling, workflows, keyword auto-responders, connect pages and QR codes, birthday campaigns, unlimited email, and two local numbers. For a lot of churches, that's enough.
PLUS is where Text In Church turns into a light church management system. Household management, advanced connect cards, an AI connect card scanner, tasks and tags, voice broadcast, and weekly live strategy calls. If you don't already have a ChMS you like, this is the plan they're steering you toward.
SUITE is for churches that want one inbox for everything. Social, incoming email, a professional email builder, and sending from your own domain. A couple of the social pieces are marked "Coming Soon" on their page, so ask before you pay for them.
Large Church is custom. Custom credit volumes, a dedicated account manager and multi-campus tools.
One nice touch: their site advertises 12 free months for church plants. If you're planting, read the terms there.
I'll say it plainly. Text In Church is good at guest follow-up.
Connect cards, automated welcome workflows and templates written for you. That's their whole world, and the strategy calls on PLUS are a real perk if nobody on your staff loves this stuff. Their integration list is long too: Planning Center, Pushpay ChMS, Rock RMS, Tithely, Elvanto and Zapier.
If guest follow-up is your number one problem, it's worth a trial. I compare the two head-to-head in Evant vs Text In Church, and against the other big names in Clearstream vs Text In Church and Flocknote vs Text In Church.
Most small churches don't need a ChMS, a social inbox and a strategy call. They need to text people. Get an RSVP. Maybe take a gift.
That's what I built Evant for. Plans start at $20 a month.
Free email is included and we handle your A2P 10DLC registration for you. If you want to know what that registration even is, I wrote a plain-English A2P 10DLC registration guide. The carrier rules behind it come from the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, if you like reading the source.

It depends on your plan (CORE, PLUS or SUITE) and the monthly credit tier you choose on their pricing calculator. Large Church is custom, billed per year. Paying annually saves 17%.
Each credit over your limit costs 3 cents, charged on your normal monthly invoice date.
No. Their pricing FAQ says incoming messages from your people are free. Picture messages you send cost 3 credits.
No contract. They say you can cancel anytime. There's a free trial button on every plan, though the trial length isn't listed on the pricing page.
If you want a guest follow-up machine with coaching and a database built in, yes, it can be. Pick PLUS and watch your picture texts.
If you just want to text your people, collect RSVPs and take donations without a calculator, try Evant. It's simple enough that a 5 year old could use it. I know because I am very simple myself.

Toll-free numbers and local 10DLC numbers both send texts, but they differ on approval time, cost, volume and how people react. Here is how to choose.

Clearstream is built for volume and integrations. Text In Church is built for guest follow-up. Here is how they compare on price, calls and features.

Flocknote and Text In Church are two of the biggest names in church texting. Here is how they compare on price, guest follow-up, calls and giving.
